It is with great pleasure that we wish to give you and all the beach volleyball lovers, an important news, designed to give great opportunities for fans of our great sport.

After several months of intense work, we have reached an important cooperation agreement with the FIVB - Fédération Internationale de Volleyball, for the development of amateur beach volleyball in the world. 

The mandate given by the FIVB, transforms BVAW in the official point of reference for the amateur world at international level and give new impetus to the already significant programs undertaken by our organization.The agreement, in particular, provides for the "merger" of the Beach Volleyball Around the World Tour with the Swatch FIVB World Tour, that is, a program for active participation of thousands of fans in major professional events.As you know, BVAW is involved since 2007 in the development of beach volley through the achievement of a real amateur world circuit. This circuit, with the recent agreement, will converge into the World Tour, resulting in an absolute novelty in the international scene of major events.All beach volleyball enthusiasts and their friends can take the opportunity to attend closely to the highest level professional events, meeting the great champions and participate in low cost active holidays, full of sport and entertainment.Every event will provide participants with free clinics carried out by professionals, several tournaments in different categories (2x2, 3x3, 4x4) using the professional playing fields, musical performances, beach parties and sightseeing tours. The objective of this collaboration is to offer great advantages to all the fans of beach volleyball, whom could be involved in activities already in program since 2010.

With the success of  Alcudia 2009, the first stop of the fantastic Beach Volley Around the World tour, already filed away, the whole ABVIA staff is engaged preparing another extraordinary event. Marsiglia 2009, from 24th to 26th of July, will be carried out in the same venue of the FIVB World Tour Grand Slam, which will be played at the same time as our event. All the participants will have the chance to meet the professional champions and to attend to the most spectacular beach volleyball matches. The organization is in charge of the local promoters MCO Sports, CD13 and the French Federation FFVB in collaboration with ABVIA . Clicking on the Marsiglia 2009 icon, you could access to the special section dedicated to this event.

Sunday 17th of May was over the first stop of the circuit "Beach Volley Around The World". In the fascinating location of Alcudia Bay, hundreds of participants coming from many countries of Europe and America have been playing during 4 days of pure entertainment. Beach Volley, beachparty and  discoteques have been mixed making an explosive cocktail of fun. A big thanks from all the ABVIA staff to all the athletes aand crew and.........see you in Marseille! 

Teams from France, Germany, Italy, Greece, Spain, Switzerland, Czech Republic and South America will take part in the first stop of the Circuit Beach Volley Around The World, the first international tour made for amateur players.Total prizemoney € 6.000 + free stay in the next stop of the tour for the winning teams.   IMPORTANT: The association ABVIA has launched a promotional action for Alcudia 2009: all the teams that make their registration to the tournament 4x4 mixed will be automatically registered and totally free to the tournaments 2x2 male and female. Big news for all the Beach Volleyball fans. At the first stop of the amateur international circuit BVAW, which will be hold in Alcudia, Majorca from 14th to 17th of May, and for the whole duration of the event, Mariano Baracetti, national player from Argentina, many times gold medal and 2001 World Champion, will carry out a daily training camp. All the players registered for the event in any of its categories, can take part of it for free. Mariano “Mono” Baracetti will teach individual technique and tactic to improve your level. There are planned 2 training turns per day. An unique chance to all the beach volleyball lovers.
